Collar Sizing
Correct Sizing is Crucial
Ensure your furry friend is both stylish and comfortable with our perfectly sized dog collars! Choosing the right size is crucial for your dog's safety and comfort, as it prevents chafing and slipping. Using a soft tape measure, measure around your dog's neck, where the collar will rest. Add 2-3 inches/5-7 centimetres to that measurement. Our collars come in a variety of sizes and colours, making it easy to find the perfect fit that matches your pup's personality. Treat your dog to a collar that not only looks great but also provides the security they deserve. Shop now and give your pet the gift of comfort!
Cats are measured in the same way. We use a breakaway buckle for safety and a d-ring for information tags. A small bell may also be used as a heads-up for the birds.
Harnesses
Harnesses are a great alternative to traditional collars for small dogs and cats for several reasons. For cats, it is mainly safety, as they cannot slip out of a harness as easily as they can slip a regular collar. Harnesses distribute pressure evenly across the chest, reducing the risk of injury to your pet’s neck and throat. They also provide better control over your dog, especially if they tend to pull or lunge during walks. Additionally, harnesses can be more comfortable for small dogs, as they do not put pressure on the delicate trachea area like collars can.
For the Chest:
With your pet standing on all fours, wrap the soft tape measure or string around the chest, behind the front legs, at the widest part of the chest. The tape or string should be flat against the dog but not tight.
For the Neck:
Wrap the soft tape measure or string around the base of the neck where a normal collar would lie. The tape or string should be flat against the dog but not tight.
